Musical Comedy

Amy is an award winning comedian as heard on BBC Radio 4. Equipped with her mini piano and an opera degree that’s never been useful, she combines banging self-produced music with playful anecdotes.

Recognised for being “playful and charismatic” (Chortle) and for having “divinely constructed comedy” (Playbill), musical comedy provides the perfect platform for Amy to combine music and being silly with free rein.

Amy won the ‘Audience Choice Award’ at the Musical Comedy Awards (2020), was shortlisted for 'Best Newcomer' at Brighton Fringe (2023) and won ‘Best Stand Up Comedy’ at Manchester Fringe (2023). Amy has written jingles for YouTuber, Max Fosh and had a comedy songwriting feature on BBC Radio Manchester for nearly 2 years. In 2024, Amy supported Christopher Hall on his UK tour as well as supporting Grace Campbell and Max Fosh.

In 2023, she debuted her “Joyful” (Telegraph) one-woman show Amy Webber: no previous experience. The show was awarded multiple five star reviews and was shortlisted for the Amused Moose Comedy Award. She took the show to Edinburgh Fringe where she had a sell out run and was added to The Telegraph’s “35 of the funniest shows at the Fringe” list.

This year (2025) sees Amy bringing her second show ‘Wannabe’ to a stage near you. Keep your eyes peeled for appearances at Brighton Fringe, Frome Festival, Manchester Fringe and Edinburgh Fringe.
